The Mission of the Department of Plant Operations is to serve as the professional custodial consultant to school site personnel and provide support that will ensure our District facilities are clean, safe and sanitary for our students, faculty and visitors.

Our primary functions are as follows:

Perform yearly Sanitation Audits
Provide management and custodial training
Develop custodial standards and cleaning protocols
Perform Custodial Allocation Surveys
Perform and assist schools with organizing Cleaning Schedules and Standards in order to ensure a satisfactory grade during the Sanitation Audit
Supply District custodians with I. D. badges
Provide support with the Disciplinary process for School Site Custodial Staff.
Support the School Site Custodial selection during the interview process
Provide Technical Support, Supervision and Mitigation Services for the Emergency Response and Hazmat Team
Provide Professional and Technical Support to on-site Custodians for concerns reported through the SCRUB program, and the timely reporting of corrected concerns to satisfy and close the SCRUB deficiency.
